my brother's 21st birthday is just around the corner, which means one thing in the Royal household... VEGA$ BABY!  not only am i super stoked for the next Royal kid to be inducted into Sin City and everything it has to offer, but this is going to be a much needed vacation for moi...


top 5 excitements for Vegas:
one: new outfits! 

i have purchased several things for the trip, but these are my faves...

two: seeing my little brother... it's been 6 months!
three: the cash money wheel, i plan to spin and win big!
four: giving my liver a run for its money
five: waiting for my grandfather to hit a royal flush and pass out the winnings, it never fails...

While Vegas was a blast, it did not yield financial benefits for myself.  However, it was worth it to take one last carefree vacation before I have to turn into a grown-up and pay a mortgage.  A little birthday money from the grandparents was much appreciated, as I know these next few weeks are filled with multiple swipes of multiple credit cards...

I'm a few days behind on the picture challenge, so I'm going to do some catching up to keep in time with move-in!  Originally, the picture challenge was to serve as a countdown, so I want to stay on track!

I leave for Vegas tomorrow (whoo hoo!) and I am getting a much-welcomed 5 day break from work before a crazy week and a long-awaited move.  I got my security system installation appointment scheduled, as well as the Cox Cable (thank goodness!) Now I just have to schedule carpet cleaning and appliance delivery, and we will be set!

MY LOAN CAME BACK FULLY APPROVED WITH NO CONDITIONS! basically meaning, there is almost nothing that can get in the way of our lovely move in date!  i'm still feeling very overwhelmed by all that needs to be done and set-up.  however, I am very much looking forward to being in this house finally!

hello kitchen!

I went and put the down payment on my brand new, beautiful GE appliances today!  I think having black appliances in the kitchen will make it look SO much nicer and newer.  Originally, I was looking at Sears' Kenmore sale going on this weekend, and found a really good deal on them; but they didn't have free delivery, and their installation fees were double that of Home TV & Appliance.  All in all, I spent about $70 more than I would've at Sears for WAY nicer appliances...woop!

In other crummy news, I spent half my day in the ER with a weird abdominal pain...this better go away by VEGAS and moving day!
